Oh, which models?
The new VCS?

Oldes
@marco Bulk contains almost everything, Base almost nothing and Core something inbetween.

@oldes: I have seen you have implemented munge on Rebol3. Which varsion have you used as source?

Oldes
I just modified it to be working a little bit in my branch, removing the old R2 and Red compatibility code. And I used the version from: http://www.dobeash.com/downloads.html
(I must note that I'm not Munge user)
Actually if I would need to deal with Excel sheets one day, I would write a proper codec for its file type, as I did with ZIP which was originaly part of the Munge source.

I would be interested in seeing a REBOL style language for the Commander X16 (David Murray's 8-bit computer).
Kaj
I have been investigating it. It's not hard to target with my language
Kaj
First support would be through the cross-platform C backend. This would at least support the low RAM. As usual on an 8-bit, using the extended RAM would be trickier
Supporting native X16 features would need more funding
The C backend has considerable overhead, limiting program size, but this past month I have started on a native 6502 backend that generates machine code directly. This improves a lot over the C backend, but it's a lot more work, so also a matter of funding
Currently I'm working on the crowd-funding website. I will put all possible target platforms up for donations, and will implement them in order of highest funding

I could use help in explaining REBOL to 8-bit people :-D
Kaj
I see the X16 has been renamed:

April Fools joke?

Kaj
Yeah, but it's such a great video that I wanted to post it, anyway
I think I could build the computer in the time it would take me to make that video :-)
